MOVIE NIGHT
Kaleo Gospel Church occasionally hosts what we call "Worship Night". This night is exclusively time for us to come together, sing songs of praise, and pray with one another. We sing song in both Japanese and English!
Even if you are not Christian, but still enjoy music please join us in singing these songs of worship!
"Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.

We enjoy celebrating both Christian and cultural holidays at Kaleo Gospel. Please join us for Easter & Mother's Day in the Spring or Thanksgiving & Christmas towards the end of the year. We usually provide traditional meals and tell the story for each holiday!
Alongside the occasional worship night, we periodically host a "Movie Night". This year we are walking through Jesus' Sermon on the Mount in our teachings. As a fun supplement we will watch Season 2 of "The Chosen", which is depiction of the preparations of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount.
"The Chosen" is a television show about the life of Jesus Christ. The goal for creating this show is to help people know Jesus better and love Scripture more. To reach that goal, the director and the other scriptwriters have taken the gospel accounts and added what are, in their opinion, plausible details about the lives of the biblical figures found there. The intended result is that viewers see the people in the Bible as real people who dealt with the same types of issues we all have to deal with.
